A Weekend in Vicksburg

Whew! This week has flown by! Jared and I have been battling our sinuses all week. We both seem to be almost back at 100%! Being sick surely hasn't held Jared back much. He is now attempting to CLIMB!! (see video at the end of this post) Here are a few pictures from last week as well as last weekend while we were in Vicksburg.

I was up and showered before they even stirred!
Jared actually slept until almost 9:00!!!

Jared's First Trip to the Zoo...Plus Other Stuff

We have been so busy lately! Jared's Nana (Ryan's mother) came in to visit Monday and today went to the Baton Rouge Zoo. Jared had a great time and especially liked seeing the miniature donkeys, giraffes, and cheetahs! Here are some pictures from Sunday and our zoo trip today.

CRAZY HAIR!!!

So we cheated and started meats a couple of weeks early :)

I had on a green dress because it's St. Patty's day...

...and this little guy (or girl?) decided to EAT my dress! I guess he thought it was green veggies of some sort?
He even followed me to the gate trying to get another nibble in!

I found these in my e-mail and decided to post them. They were taken by my friend, Brooklyn. Jared and I stopped to see her Thursday and her little boy, Caden, was nice enough to share his toys with little Jared. He did request that Jared not put them in his mouth but it was a lost cause from the beginning!

Crawlers and Crawfish

This week went by in a blur! Jared is now pulling up and even moving from one place to the next in the standing position! We had our first crawfish boil of the season last night. We had over a few friends and were able to enjoy them outside despite the rain! Here are some pictures of Jared from this past week:

What a Mess!!!

We now have Jared blocked in...the living room is his cage! After we did this, he discovered he could get around the barricade in front of the fireplace, pull the rocks out and throw them on the floor. Not a fun game for me! Here are some pictures from yesterday and today:
